Get lost in the heart of Lancashire

Nateby Fields Leisure Park is located adjacent to the Lancaster canal, providing a short picturesque walk into the historic market town of Garstang. Garstang boasts a rich history, with landmarks such as the ruins of Greenhalgh Castle built by Thomas Stanley, the 1st Earl of Derby, in the late 1400s and more recently being recognized as the world's first fairtrade town in 2000. Today Garstang continues to prosper, regularly performing well in the Small Country Town category of the Britain in Bloom awards.

Garstang boasts modern health and leisure facilities, an 18-hole a golf course and the award winning Barton Grange garden centre and farm shop and Flower Bowl cinema, as well as a wide range of popular local restaurants, cafes and pubs. We recommend taking a 5 minute walk to Bradshaws Farm Shop or a 10 minute drive to the award-winning Wallings Ice Cream both run by local families. The town also enjoys celebrating an arts festival and an agricultural show in August and the Victorian festival in December. In the neighbouring village Scorton, you will be welcomed by cosy cafes such as The Barn and The Apple Store on the Wyresdale Hall Estate.

Nateby Fields Leisure Park is a stones throw away to the west of the Forest of Bowland AONB, famed for its scenic valleys and wild game, which roam the forest. The city of Lancaster lies a short distance to the north, offering attractions such as the historic Lancaster Castle famous for the Pendle Witch Trials, charming cobbled streets, and woodland walks around Williamson Park. Nearby to the west is the seaside town of Blackpool with all of its attractions and the upmarket coastal town of Lytham, famous for its annual music festival.
